I was at the lumber yard (not the fine woods supplier -- I mean a lumber yard) and there lying in a pile of 2x4 redwood was a piece with an edge profile that hinted at something special. I took that 2x4 scrap home and made veneer, double-bookmatched for the door of this medicine cabinet. All wood is special, but some is more special than others. |
